About The Position
Always Compassionate Health is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support clients throughout Rockland County. We are committed to providing excellent care to our clients and a supportive environment for our caregivers. Immediate opportunities are available for individuals passionate about helping others and seeking flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- NY State HHA or PCA certification required
- Passion for caring for adult, elderly, or pediatric clients
- Strong communication skills
- English proficiency
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Physical, Quantiferon or 2 PPDs within one year and MMR titers
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the care plan
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with ambulation and mobility (inside and outside the home)
- Accompany clients to appointments or on walks
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
