Home Care Aide (HHA) | Flexible Work Hours | Part-Time, Full-Time, PRN

BrightStar Care is hiring a compassionate and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) who is ready to make a difference while growing professionally. The role offers a flexible schedule between 7AM–11PM, primarily Monday–Friday with occasional weekends. BrightStar Care values its caregivers, providing support and opportunities for advancement. The service area covers the West side of Cleveland and surrounding communities, including Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Medina counties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience (home care, private duty, hospice, or facility)
- CPR certification & TB test (or chest X-ray)
- Valid driver's license & auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Up-to-date vaccinations (COVID-19, Flu, Hep B)
Nice To Haves
- HHA/CNA training preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Provide compassionate care for dementia patients
- Perform light housekeeping & maintain a safe environment
- Run errands and accompany clients to appointments
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in condition
- Follow care plans and collaborate with the care team
- Stay ready: uniform, transportation, and communication at all times
