Requirements

• Active Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification or Willingness to obtain
• Completion of a state-approved HHA training program
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Compassionate personality and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Dressing
• Toileting
• Mobility and transfers
• Maintain a Safe Home Environment
• Light housekeeping
• Linen changes
• Laundry
• Infection control practices
• Monitor Client Well-Being
• Provide medication reminders
• Observe and report changes in condition
• Communicate concerns to supervising nurses
• Provide Emotional & Social Support
• Conversation and companionship
• Reading or memory activities
• Light exercises or short walks
• Documentation
• Record care notes and observations in our digital charting system each shift
