About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the flow of the restaurant, seating guests, maintaining a waitlist, and providing a positive and welcoming experience for all customers. The role requires adherence to safety and health standards, as well as company policies and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Responsibilities include assisting with cleaning, completing daily side work, and balancing the register drawer.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Friendly and welcoming demeanor.

Nice To Haves

Graduation from high school or equivalent is preferred.
Prior knowledge or experience within a hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

Ensure regular and reliable attendance during scheduled work hours.
Wear and maintain uniforms properly, including a gaming license if applicable.
Develop and maintain positive relations with customers and employees.
Manage the flow of the restaurant by seating guests according to server rotation.
Maintain a waitlist, estimate wait times accurately, and use pagers to notify guests.
Answer customer questions about the restaurant, menu, and casino operations.
Present a positive and welcoming image to customers and employees.
Perform all duties in compliance with safety standards, health standards, internal policies, and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
Assist with cleaning tables and performing other directed responsibilities.
Complete daily side work, including sanitizing menus.
Balance the register drawer at the end of each shift.
Perform other duties and special projects as needed or directed.
