About The Position

Clayton is seeking interns for its Summer 2027 Home Building Group Internship Program. This program is designed to provide interns with hands-on experience in various business functions within a dynamic corporate environment. Interns will gain exposure to business operations, project management, and cross-departmental collaboration. Through mentorship and structured learning, interns will develop practical skills, a deeper understanding of the industry, and enhance critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities. The program emphasizes a supportive team environment and practical learning experiences.

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university.
  • Interested in pursuing a career in Accounting, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, and garner respect from other team members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to project-based strategic initiatives that influence Clayton’s growth and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in intern events, networking sessions, lunch and learns, and leadership panels.
  • Execute business initiatives while receiving hands-on experience and mentoring.
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to complete goals and objectives.
  • Prepare an end-of-summer executive presentation highlighting contributions and experiences.
