Home-Based Mental Health Counselor
About The Position
Caring Family Community Services, a family-owned and operated in-home counseling provider founded in 2003, is seeking licensed clinicians to provide in-home therapy services for children and families throughout New Jersey. The organization was founded with the goal of supporting youth with emotional and behavioral challenges and continues to serve hundreds of families statewide with family-centered values. Licensed clinicians work with children aged 3 to 20 with emotional, behavioral, and developmental issues, and also provide counseling for parents and guardians of children involved with DCPP.
Requirements
- Licensure in the State of NJ as an LSW, LCSW, LPC, LRC, LMFT, APN, CNS, Licensed Psychologist or PsyD required.
- Previous experience with children and families is required.
- Satisfactory completion of professional references, criminal background and driving record checks.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with developmental and intellectual disabilities including autism spectrum disorder strongly preferred.
- Bilingual a Plus
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home therapy services for children and families.
- Work with children with emotional, behavioral, and developmental issues, ages 3 to 20.
- Provide counseling for parents and guardians of children involved with DCPP.
