As a Home-based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) Specialist, you will support families and youth in crisis by providing in-home services. You will assist families in implementing behavior management techniques and crisis de-escalation skills with their children and support children in communicating their needs. As part of the HBCI team, you will provide short-term (up to 6 weeks), intensive intervention to youth and families who are in crisis. You will work with parents and caregivers to help them help their children. Your work will produce meaningful outcomes in a short period of time. You will report to the HBCI Team Lead, and work Monday – Friday. You will also be available for on-call crisis support by phone for your caseload. You will work a hybrid schedule which includes working with clients in their homes, and the opportunity to work remotely to complete administrative tasks in your own home or from our offices. You will attend weekly team meetings onsite, and other larger team meetings.
