About The Position

This role provides comprehensive home-based services to families with children from the prenatal stage through age five, utilizing the Parents as Teachers curriculum and evidence-based family engagement frameworks. The position supports child development and school readiness through regular home visits, developmental screenings, assessments, parent education, and meaningful parent-child interactions while recognizing parents as their child's first and most important teacher.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred from an accredited college or university in Human Services or related field or a minimum of a CDA in home visiting or comparable credential
• A minimum of two years of previous supervised work experience with young children and/or parents

• Connecting families to community resources
• Facilitating group socializations and community outings
• Encouraging parent leadership and participation
• Supporting family goal achievement through a whole-family approach
• Compliance with Head Start Performance Standards
• Maintenance of Parent Educator certification
• Participation in training and outreach efforts
• Collaboration to maximize positive outcomes for children and families
