About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking caring and experienced Home and Community based Therapists to join their growing New York team. Under the direction of the Program Director, HCBT Clinicians will provide services and care to patients in accordance with NFS’ policies. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing and well-regarded organization that is expanding throughout NY and nationally. NFS Home and Community Based Therapists work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths to be their best selves and realize their full potential. They provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home to treat a youth’s behavioral health needs, utilizing multiple evidence-based practices that promote families' strengths. Home and Community Based Therapist positions require in-person visits to clients' homes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field required.
  • Clinical Licensure (LCSW or LMHC) and Limited Permit in the state of NY.
  • Access to secure internet required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting preferred.
  • Excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach.
  • Valid driver’s license with access to reliable and consistent access to a vehicle preferred.
  • Some afternoon and evening availability is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide services and care to patients in accordance with NFS’ policies.
