About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual who is passionate about creating fun, engaging, and memorable experiences for children ages 5–12. This role is responsible for supervising groups of children while maintaining a staff-to-child ratio of no more than 1:20. The ideal candidate will design and lead age-appropriate activities, prepare materials for both indoor and outdoor programs, and foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. A natural ability to be patient, nurturing, and attentive is essential. Strong communication skills, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset are highly valued. A genuine appreciation for and understanding of Hawaii’s culture, history, and traditions is also important to help create meaningful and culturally respectful experiences for participants.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree OR Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
• Minimum of 24 months of related work experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of related work experience with school-aged children.
• Must clear a local and national criminal background check and anything required for the DHS Licensing process.
• Knowledge of and comfortable sharing our Hawaiian Culture.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Have knowledge in Microsoft Word, G Suite, Gmail, and Cloud.
• Ability to become certified in First Aid and Pediatric CPR.
• Ability to become Lifeguard Certified.
