About The Position

Squishable is seeking a dynamic and engaging Holiday TikTok Live Selling Host to join their team for the upcoming holiday season. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for livestreaming, sales, and plush toys. The host will be responsible for keeping the Squishable TikTok shop active and engaging, bringing Squishables, Blind Boxes, and holiday cheer to life on camera. The ideal candidate is a blend of salesperson, entertainer, and plush expert, comfortable on camera, and adept at connecting with online audiences. This is a temporary, seasonal position running from November through the holiday season.

Requirements

• Prior live selling, retail, or sales experience is required.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills.
• Comfortable and engaging on camera for extended periods.
• Available to stream between 3-6 days a week for between 3 to 5 hours a day, on-site in Manhattan, including some late evening streams.
• Genuine passion and enthusiasm for plush toys and collectibles!
• Must provide own wardrobe and makeup.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with TikTok Shop administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Host live shopping streams selling Squishable plush toys and Blind Boxes on TikTok Shop over the holiday season, starting in early November, from our NYC office studio and assorted nearby stores.
• Create an energetic, entertaining, and fun atmosphere that keeps viewers watching and buying.
• Help shape and drive our live selling strategy as the channel continues to grow.
• Educate viewers on our products and what makes them stand out.
• Engage with viewers and respond to comments/questions throughout the duration of the stream.
• Drive sales per hour and hit hourly and weekly GMV targets.

Benefits

• Pay: $22-$32 an hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: 3-6 days/week (as we get closer to the holiday season, the frequency will rise)
• Additional commission based on experience.
