About The Position

Humbug Holiday Lighting is hiring a hardworking, reliable Holiday Lighting Technician with attention to detail and a focus on customer service. No prior holiday lighting experience is required, and ladder safety training is provided. The role involves outdoor work at customers’ homes and businesses, installing and taking down holiday lights, interacting with clients, and helping with marketing. The position is described as offering flexible scheduling and compensation of $20–$30 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses and commission.

Requirements

No prior holiday lighting experience is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in pest control, lawn care or landscaping, painting, electrical work, roofing, outdoor labor or home services, holiday lighting, delivery service, customer service, driving, gig work, warehouse work, sales, or retail.

Responsibilities

Install and take down outdoor holiday lights on homes and foliage at customer properties.
Complete provided ladder safety training and demonstrate proper ladder use.
Maintain a uniform and professional quality at job sites.
Quote work on site and make recommendations to clients.
Drive to customers’ homes or businesses.
Assist with marketing efforts, such as distributing door hangers or placing lawn signs.
