About The Position

Shack Shine, a Southwind company, is hiring experienced installers for seasonal holiday light installation work from September through December in the Kansas City Metro Area. The role reports to Mission, Kansas, and involves installing commercial-grade holiday lighting at customer locations. Shifts are flexible and run Monday through Saturday, with a 7:00 a.m. start time. Pay is up to $22 per hour based on experience, plus commission, bonuses, and tips. Uniforms, tools, equipment, and transportation to job sites in a company vehicle are provided. The seasonal position may lead to future opportunities with Shack Shine.

Requirements

1–2 years of commercial-grade Christmas or holiday light installation experience is preferred but not required.
Comfort working on ladders and roofs up to 40 feet.
Valid driver’s license, no major driving infractions, and at least 21 years of age.
Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
Reliable and punctual, with availability up to six days per week.
Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Background in maintenance, general labor, power washing, painting, landscaping, roofing, or construction.
Commercial-grade Christmas or holiday light installation experience.

Responsibilities
