About The Position

The Job Placement Program is a temporary work placement program which allows our most talented frontline Team Members to gain professional work experience and networking opportunities by completing temporary work assignments in our theme park offices. The goal is to prepare frontline Team Members to transition into full-time careers!

Requirements

  • Willingness to work late evenings, overnights, early mornings and holidays
  • Comfortable working in low light and various weather conditions
  • Knowledge of basic electrical theory and elements, as well as knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and best practice, or a willingness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, hardware, tools and entertainment theming
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute plots, diagrams and other designs accurately and safely in the field
  • Demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills, effective time management, composure under pressure, and leadership
  • Previous stage technician experience, including overhead rigging, power/data management, scenic builds and permanent attachment methods
  • Currently hold a valid driver’s license and have held such license for at least two years with no suspensions or revocations
  • Must be fully available July 27, 2026 through January 31, 2027
  • Attendance - TM must have 8 or below attendance points AND no more than a Written Warning 2 in the last 6 months
  • Variance - TM must have 7 or below variance points AND no more than a Final Written Warning in the last 6 months
  • Behavioral - No more than a Final Written Warning level discipline in the last 6 months
  • Probationary Status - TM must have passed or be within 75% Through probation during application/ selection and must have passed probation as of start date of role
  • Must be current USH Team Member
  • Availability - Must have full open availability

Responsibilities

  • Oversee holiday decor installation overnights, including coordination between multiple vendors and work groups to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Review all documents related to installation—including decorative and electrical books, and relay installation instructions
  • Support the maintenance of design integrity
  • Ensure site safety standards are communicated and maintained
  • Document management
  • Perform other duties as assigned
