About The Position

This is a 1st shift position for a Holesaw Finishing Operator. The role involves performing various duties related to the finishing and packaging of holesaws, including offloading machines, assembling kits, quality checks, and equipment maintenance. The work environment is demanding and fast-paced, with potential for shifts to be extended to 10 hours a day to meet service and attainment goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to use numbers including decimals
Light physical effort required, equivalent to lifting, pushing, pulling 5 to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

Offload all machines for a variety of holesaw sizes following standard established methods and procedures.
Assemble kits.
When offloading the Apex, remove painted holesaw from spindle and place it in a wooden tray.
Place unpainted saw on spindle.
Move painted products to the appropriate packaging IPK.
Check for quality; set aside any holesaws that do not meet standards for rework.
Set up automatic and manual boxing, blister, and pad printing equipment.
Retrieve packaging material from storage racks to load machinery and assemble kits.
Record usage of all material on traveler per ISO standards.
Perform regular routine maintenance to the equipment and post information to the maintenance log.
Fill out daily production sheets and input numbers into an iPad.
Detect and report defective material or equipment, unusual situations, or other problems to the supervisor.
Maintain equipment and work area in a neat and orderly manner.
Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.
