About The Position

Reverse-engineer Hogan modules and serve as the squad's source of truth on legacy behavior during the migration to Pismo.

Requirements

• 10+ years on DXC Hogan platform
• Expert in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ
• Experience documenting and decommissioning legacy capabilities for cloud migration
• Strong production change-management discipline

Nice To Haves

• Prior Hogan-to-cloud-core migration experience
• Exposure to ISO 20022 mapping
• CA Endevor or Changeman

Responsibilities

• Reverse-engineer Hogan modules in scope (IDS, CIS, PEP+, ULS, DDA, or rail-specific)
• Codify business rules embedded in COBOL into canonical specifications
• Build extraction interfaces over VSAM, DB2, and MQ
• Implement dual-write hooks, rollback paths, and legacy-side change controls
