About The Position

As the HM Foreclosure Specialist, you will monitor loans in foreclosure to ensure compliance with all investor, guarantor, ensurer, state and federal guidelines/timeframes are adhered to. This role involves managing a portfolio of assets in various stages of foreclosure, performing a variety of tasks associated with processing foreclosures, and managing state foreclosure timelines. You will also be responsible for requesting and validating legal documents from third-party vendors, coordinating with third-party services for statutory postings and mailings, and accurately entering data while maintaining electronic files. Daily interaction with Foreclosure Attorneys is expected, as is the execution and notarization of foreclosure documents. A key part of the role includes reviewing files upon receipt in foreclosure to ensure all prerequisites have been met, working the foreclosure task queue daily, and responding to inquiries promptly. Handling all foreclosure-related correspondence, phone calls, and emails efficiently is crucial to avoid customer complaints. Additionally, you will read, review, and understand title reports to determine lien position and accurately report foreclosure sale results to the investor. Other duties and projects as assigned by management may also be part of this role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • MSP/Director 7/ LPS/ Black Knight
  • 2-4 years of default loan servicing
  • Knowledgeable in Document Execution and notarization
  • Knowledgeable in Payoffs and reinstatements
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Proficient product knowledge
  • Solid knowledge MS Excel
  • Solid knowledge of MS Word
  • Strong organization skills

  • FHA/USDA/VA servicing experience preferred
