About The Position

Aerodyne Industries is an engineering and information technology services firm supporting NASA's Missions to the Moon and Mars, and the Missile Defense Agency and Department of Defense. They are seeking a Human Landing System (HLS) Flight Control Simulation Engineer to join their team. This position involves working with NASA and JETS engineers to develop and maintain a 6-DOF Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) simulation for the NASA HLS Program. The primary focus will be on developing flight control system algorithms for both automated and piloted manual flight of lunar lander vehicles. This HLS simulation is crucial for designing and developing a crewed digital manual control system, prototyping Displays and Controls, and assessing human-in-the-loop handling qualities.
