About The Position

At ViiV Healthcare, we are dedicated to combating, preventing, and eradicating HIV and AIDS. We are seeking an experienced HIV Product Specialist to join our team. This role is based in Brisbane, covering the Queensland territory, primarily metro with regular travel throughout the state. You will be responsible for promoting ViiV Healthcare brands to healthcare professionals specializing in HIV, analyzing territory opportunities to develop a strategic approach, building strong cross-functional relationships with medical and marketing teams, and maintaining a high level of HIV disease state product knowledge.

Requirements

Motivated self-starter with passion for the role and a growth mindset
Proven track record of high performance in a pharma specialist/hospital sales position
Strong business acumen, ability to influence and can demonstrate performance
Exceptional communication and organisational skills
Practical knowledge of the Australian healthcare system; particularly, pharmacy, hospitals and formularies
Bachelor degree in a science or business-related discipline

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and understanding, or interest in HIV preferred

Responsibilities

Conducting best in industry selling conversations with ID Physicians, Immunologists, Sexual Health Physicians, S100 GPs, Specialist Pharmacists and Nurses
Analyse territory opportunities and assuming a leadership role to build a strategy that incorporates key account management
Building strong cross-functional relationships with the medical and marketing team to influence ViiV Healthcare strategic approach
Maintain a high-level of HIV disease state product knowledge
Building a reliable and trusted perception of ViiV Healthcare
