About The Position

Flex-N-Gate is a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry. This role's primary responsibility is the production of quality parts while maintaining rate. The position involves reading work instructions and following oral instructions. Both 1st and 2nd shifts are available, with an hourly rate starting at $20.25.

Requirements

• Complete and Pass Ventra GR29 LOTO Trainings.
• Able to perform in a high-paced environment.
• Ability to work in cold and hot environments
• Upper body mobility is required along with the physical requirements of lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling.
• Must be able to stand 90% of the time.
• Able to lift / carry / move using one or two hands from 1 lb. to 50 lbs.
• Must wear required PPE at all time.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load / Unload metal Hitches to a conveyor line to be painted.
• Read / Follow Process and Work Instructions.
• Performs jobs within operation of assigned work area.
• Uses Help Chain for equipment problems and scrap/quality issues
• Follows IATF16949 requirements per standards
• Follows ISO 14001 requirements per standards.
• Maintains 5S standards as they relate to housekeeping in the assigned work area.
• Reports any and all safety issues immediately to supervisor / team leader / management staff.
• Maintains compliance to Company policies, work rules, safety standards and housekeeping policies.
