About The Position
Leominster High School is seeking a History/Social Studies teacher for a permanent position starting in August 2026. This position would instruct courses in United States or World History and Social Studies electives. Leominster High School serves over 1800 students in a growing and diverse community that includes a comprehensive and vocational school.
Requirements
- B.S./B.A. with a strong GPA in relevant coursework
- Current certification or qualified to obtain Massachusetts History Certification grades 9-12
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- SEI Endorsement preferred
- Experience with diverse student populations preferred
- Being bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Instruct courses in United States or World History
