About The Position

The University of Chicago Laboratory Schools seeks a part-time History Teacher for its High School. This role involves developing and executing engaging lesson plans that foster critical and independent thinking in students. The ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching with an emphasis on primary sources, developing analytical research paper skills, and adapting instruction to various learning styles. The History Department serves students in grades 9-12, offering courses in various historical fields and electives. The position requires collaboration across departments and divisions, with a demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary programming being strongly preferred.
