This position is for a History teacher who will also serve as an Assistant Football Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves implementing the educational program for students, diagnosing their achievement levels, planning and directing learning activities, and motivating students. The teacher will create a conducive learning atmosphere, evaluate student progress, and assist with academic, personal, social, and career counseling. Responsibilities also include implementing school and district curricular goals, ensuring substitutes have necessary information, preparing lesson plans, and assisting in curriculum development and needs assessment for instructional materials. The role requires informing students of regulations, conferring with parents, supervising students in various school areas, and assisting in the enforcement of school regulations. Additionally, the position involves participating in inservice programs, maintaining records, checking attendance, sponsoring clubs and activities, taking responsibility for issued materials, adhering to board policies and district guidelines, supervising bus students, attending faculty meetings, and participating in professional activities related to the subject area. Other duties as assigned.
