Histology Technician I

About The Position
Accessioning tissue, embeds, sections, stains, and labels surgical and autopsy specimens. May assist with autopsies. Frozen sections, bone marrows and fine needle aspirations. Produces high quality specimens to be used for pathology and research needs. Performs all necessary duties and procedures required for the processing of specimens for diagnostic purposes.
Requirements
- Completion of a degree in Science
Nice To Haves
- Certified as a Histology Tech
- Two years of experience in a hospital setting
- Histology Tech certification
