About The Position

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. By evaluating and solving problems related to collection and processing of biological specimens the Histology Technologist plays a vital role on the laboratory team. The Histology Technologist performs a full range of laboratory procedures and evaluates new techniques and procedures in the laboratory to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of computer systems and a general knowledge of medical/laboratory terminology preferred.
High School Diploma or GED-Required
No Experience Required

Responsibilities

Evaluating and solving problems related to collection and processing of biological specimens
Performing a full range of laboratory procedures
Evaluating new techniques and procedures in the laboratory to support the delivery of high-quality patient care
