About The Position
Join us for our Hiring Event on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Nordstrom Mission Viejo (100 The Shops at Mission Viejo, Mission Viejo, CA 92691). The event will take place from 11am to 5pm. No appointment is necessary; simply attend during the event hours for an interview. Please follow signs for the hiring event location or ask any Nordstrom employee for directions. You are welcome to bring a resume, but it is not required. The interview process is expected to take approximately 1 hour, and on-the-spot job offers will be made for most roles. We are currently hiring for positions in Beauty Sales and Counter Managers, Women's Apparel, Men's Apparel, Shoes, Kids, Stock, and Customer Service. Requirements
- Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers.
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds [Stock/Logistics Only].
