About The Position

Precision Pipeline Solutions is hosting a Hiring Event for Meter Reader and Field Inspector positions in the Hudson Valley. This event offers an opportunity to meet the hiring team, learn about the roles, and explore career growth potential. Training is provided for both positions, and no prior experience is required for the Field Inspector role.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Basic computer or smart device skills
Strong attention to detail and reliability
High school diploma or GED
Pass drug test including THC as we are a federally mandated contractor working with utilities
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to work outdoors and travel locally
Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines
Strong observation and documentation skills
High school diploma

Nice To Haves

No experience required – we will train
No prior inspection experience required – training provided

Responsibilities

Read and record natural gas or utility meters at residential and commercial locations
Accurately document meter data using handheld devices
Identify and report irregular readings or potential safety concerns
Work independently while traveling assigned routes in the field
Provide professional customer interaction when needed
Perform field inspections related to utility poles, manholes & other utility infrastructure
Verify work compliance with company, local, and state regulations
Document findings using mobile technology
Communicate observations to supervisors and project teams
Travel to job sites throughout the Hudson Valley
