About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking an experienced Hip Hop Dance Instructor for Production Company Dance Centre in Longmont, CO. The role involves teaching in-person lessons to children aged 5-12 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The studio emphasizes providing quality instruction in a safe environment, focusing on developing both dance technique and life skills. The ideal candidate will be high-energy, engaging, organized, responsible, and comfortable communicating with clients. Experience in choreography, cleaning and rehearsing routines, music editing/cutting, and working with various skill levels is desired. There are also opportunities for private lessons and masterclasses.

Requirements

High-energy and engaging with kids of all ages.
Organized, responsible, and comfortable communicating with community venues and clients.
Significant experience performing and teaching ballet.
Able to choreograph, clean, and rehearse routines independently.
Comfortable working with a wide range of skill levels (beginner through teen).
Experienced in music editing/cutting.

Nice To Haves

Interest in offering private lessons in Hip Hop and/or other styles.

Responsibilities

Teach Hip Hop Foundations classes for ages 5-7 on Tuesdays from 5:15 PM to 6:00 PM.
Teach Hip Hop 1-2 classes for ages 8-12 on Wednesdays from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM.
Offer private lessons in Hip Hop and/or other styles.
Choreograph, clean, and rehearse routines independently.
Edit and cut music for classes.
Work with a wide range of skill levels, from beginner through teen.
Contribute to the vibrant dance community.
Develop important life skills in students beyond dance technique.
