Position provides technical support in the area of health information management. Support may involve retrieval of medical records, response to release of information requests, filing medical records, record analysis, physician medical record completion, medical transcription processing or scanning medical records. Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times. Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines. Demonstrates attention to detail and promptness. Demonstrates excellent customer skills to the visitors, physicians and hospital staff. Communicates with management and others in a prompt and professional manner both in verbal and written forms. Reports to work on time and strives to minimize non-productive time.
