About The Position
Responsible for releasing protected health information from patients' external agencies/business (attorneys, insurance companies, etc.) and internal and external healthcare providers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and applicable experience
- Three years experience in clinical or technical office support in healthcare environment required
Responsibilities
- Reviews validity of requests.
- Forwards all subpoena and court orders to Manager/Supervisor.
- Identifies and copies information requested.
- Logs all requests into ChartMaxx Release of Information Module.
