About The Position

This is a temporary-to-perm opportunity for a HIM Associate in Kansas City, KS. The role involves processing and releasing medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. The position requires hands-on experience with Epic's ROI application and a strong understanding of Health Information Management (HIM) and Release of Information (ROI) processes within a healthcare setting. The associate will be responsible for reviewing medical record requests, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and utilizing Epic's ROI application for record release. A high school diploma is required, and candidates must have at least one year of relevant experience.

Requirements

1+ year of Health Information Management (HIM), Medical Records & Release of Information (ROI) experience.
Direct experience working as an ROI Specialist, HIM ROI Associate, or similar role within a healthcare organization or ROI vendor.
Hands-on experience reviewing medical record requests for HIPAA compliance.
Hands-on experience releasing records through Epic’s ROI application.
Epic ROI experience is required.
High school diploma.
