Responsibilities

  • Perform patching, cleaning, and leveling of damaged highway areas
  • Set up work zone signs, place cones, and use communication tools to guide traffic
  • Dig ditches, clear culverts, and fill washouts to maintain water flow
  • Load and unload tools and use equipment such as mowers, shovels, and trimmers
  • Complete housekeeping tasks to maintain compliance with environmental requirements
  • Assist with building maintenance and help remove snow from parking areas and walkways
