About The Position
Goodhue County is actively recruiting qualified applicants for a Highway Equipment Operator located in the Cannon Falls shop of the Public Works department. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Snow plowing, ice control and sanding Maintenance of bituminous road surfaces Highway Right-of-Way maintenance Preventative maintenance on trucks, equipment, buildings and grounds Gravel road maintenance and bituminous highway shouldering For specific job duties and additional position information, please review the job description linked below.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Two or more years' experience in the operation of heavy equipment and/or a Technical College certification in equipment operation
- Class "A" Commercial Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Snow plowing, ice control and sanding
- Maintenance of bituminous road surfaces
- Highway Right-of-Way maintenance
- Preventative maintenance on trucks, equipment, buildings and grounds
- Gravel road maintenance and bituminous highway shouldering
