About The Position

Responsible for engineering design using knowledge of general engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Requirements

Knowledge of general engineering principles and practices
Ability to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments
Proficiency in MicroStation, Geopak, or ORD design software
Ability to analyze survey data, maps, drawings, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data
Ability to perform design computations
Ability to develop construction cost estimates
Ability to assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
Ability to coordinate with internal team members
Ability to support other teams when needed

Experience with schematic design and PS&E in Texas
Experience performing alternative studies

Responsibilities

Development of schematic design and PS&E in Texas
Perform alternative studies
Organize and coordinate design elements with teaming partners
Analyze survey data, maps, drawings, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
Perform design computations
Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software MicroStation, Geopak, or ORD
Develop construction cost estimates
Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality
Support other teams when needed to accomplish company milestones
Perform other related duties as assigned
