Serve as Project Manager for highway and roadway design-build projects, from pursuit through final delivery. Lead multidisciplinary design teams and coordinate closely with construction partners in a design-build environment. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality in accordance with Lochner’s project management procedures. Act as the primary point of contact with NCDOT, FHWA, contractors, and subconsultants. Ensure compliance with NCDOT standards, manuals, DB contracts, DB guidelines, and federal regulations. Oversee design development, technical reviews, constructability reviews, and value engineering efforts. Support design-build pursuits, including technical approach development, staffing plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies. Mentor and develop engineering staff while fostering a collaborative team environment. Promote Lochner’s culture of safety, quality, and integrity on all projects.
