About The Position

This role involves supporting 8th-12th graders in ELA, Science, Social Studies, or Math. Tutors will have the flexibility to choose their schedule and subject. Tutors will provide academic assistance in English and Math, working 10-35 hours per week. Requirements

  • Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
  • Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school.
  • Participate in monthly training.
  • Strong literacy skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support 8th-12th graders in ELA, Science, Social Studies or Math.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Literacy and exam prep.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning strategies.
  • Bridge language gaps to ensure every student has the support they need.
