Requirements

At least one (1) year experience supporting mission critical environments
Current electrical Journeyman's license
Experience with High Voltage
Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill and competence in area of non-expertise (e.g., electrical expertise with mechanical competence, or vice versa)
Ability to operate and perform routine and emergency service on state-of-the-art critical systems
Knowledge and experience using basic computer applications

Responsibilities

Provide 24x7 on-call emergency response and support to maintain building systems and infrastructure integrity and availability
Monitor and maintain all building and mission critical facilities equipment
Perform daily/weekly/monthly walk-throughs supporting data center and office operations
Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment to ensure efficient operation
Ensure Chief Engineer and/or Assistant Chief Engineer receive timely verbal and written operating reports about building systems and preventative maintenance
Encourage, train, and evaluate Apprentice's technical and behavioral skills; set professional example
