About The Position
EMCOR Government Services (EGS) is seeking a High Voltage Electrician to provide Facilities Operations Maintenance and support Services to a Government Agency in Research Triangle Park, NC. This position is covered by the CBA for Industrial, Technical and Professional Employees Union, OPEIU Local 4873. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with 13.8 KV, 480V switchgear, and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) system.
- Must hold the High Voltage Certification and Cable Splicing Certification (5KV – 35 KV electrical system).
Responsibilities
- Performs Electrical Services work on high voltage electrical equipment for commercial facilities.
