About The Position

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Engineer to join our Generation & Energy Management Team. This role involves supporting critical energy systems in high-impact environments, working on high-voltage electrical systems for advanced industrial and energy facilities. The engineer will contribute to projects supporting power generation, manufacturing, and mission-critical infrastructure, expanding technical expertise and delivering resilient electrical solutions for safe, efficient, and future-ready operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required
  • Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required
  • Understanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of specifications and reports for mechanical energy, power generation, and facility energy system projects.
  • Develop computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior staff or technical leadership.
  • Identify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard procedures and best practices to support system reliability, safety, and performance.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, acting quickly to resolve technical or operational issues that could impact mission‑critical systems.
  • Take responsibility for large portions of projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including field assignments and system assessments.
