Elgin - High School Varsity Wrestling Coach
About The Position
The Elgin School District is seeking a High School Head Boys Wrestling Coach for the 26-27 season. This is an extra-curricular coaching position within the Athletics department. The coach will support the School District's athletic objectives, policies, and the Athletic Code. The district emphasizes the importance of extra-curricular activities for student growth, encouraging participation for all students to develop physically, intellectually, and socially. Coaches are responsible for organizing and conducting athletic programs to meet the needs of the school district and its participants.
Requirements
- Support the School District athletic objective, policy of interscholastic athletics, and School District Athletic Code.
- Belief that extra-curricular activities are an integral part of school life.
- Belief that all students, regardless of their ability, should take part if possible to be able to grow physically, intellectually, and socially through participation.
- Ability to organize and conduct athletic programs to meet the needs of the school district and their participants.
