About The Position

Pottsgrove Athletics is seeking a qualified, dedicated, and high-energy Head Varsity Baseball Coach to lead our program. The Head Coach will be responsible for leading all aspects of the baseball program, including varsity team management, player development, staff supervision, and fostering a competitive, sportsmanship-driven environment aligned with Pottsgrove’s athletic values.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience coaching interscholastic baseball at the high school level or above.
• Comprehensive understanding of PIAA rules, eligibility criteria, and Pioneer Athletic Conference guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Head Coach at the interscholastic high school level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Boys Varsity Baseball program, including practice planning, game strategy, and varsity roster selection.
• Maintain strict adherence to all rules, policies, and guidelines established by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and the Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC).
• Foster student-athlete academic success, sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership on and off the court.
• Coordinate with the Athletic Director regarding scheduling, facility use, transportation, and equipment inventory.
• Supervise sub-varsity coaching staff to ensure alignment across the entire 7-12 program pipeline.
