Requirements

BA/BS Degree
CA Preliminary or Clear single subject teaching credential with English Language Authorization (ELA) required

Responsibilities

Deliver educational program ensuring data-driven, results-based instruction aligned with Common Core Standards.
Provide direct instruction to students for 6 hours a day.
Teach for mastery of Common Core Standards, demonstrating knowledge in Single-Subject content areas.
Develop lesson plans and a differentiated curriculum to ensure student success.
Utilize assessments and data to inform instruction and maintain grade, attendance, and retention records.
Provide targeted interventions for special education students and English Language Learners.
Participate in community groups, faculty meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
Assist with state-mandated student testing.
Meet with students and parents to discuss progress and challenges.
