About The Position
ILAC International High School in Toronto is seeking a skilled and experienced high school teacher to join their team and inspire students to reach their full potential. Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- Demonstrate mastery of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials for courses taught.
- Experienced with teaching the high school course and preparing daily lesson plans in accordance with the Ontario curriculum.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Able to commute to Downtown Toronto.
Nice To Haves
- Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) considered a strong asset
- Experienced in developing Course Outlines and Course of Study is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Teaching the high school subjects to Grade 9-12 students.
- Availability at the school premises from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in Toronto.
- Preparing daily lesson plans, assessment & evaluation per Growing Success document.
- Marking the assessments/evaluations and reporting back to the principal in a timely manner.
- Possessing interest in fostering diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice to promote a healthy learning environment.
- Engaging in positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members.
