About The Position

This is a 1.0 FTE (LTS) position for a High School Science Teacher at Apple Valley High School. The anticipated dates of employment are from October 25, 2026, until November 25, 2026. The teacher will be responsible for teaching the curriculum of Independent School District 196, carrying out responsibilities as defined by the master contract and the principal, and maintaining good communication and cooperation with staff and parents.

Requirements

• Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach high school science.
• Strong general academic background.
• Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
