About The Position
This is a 1.0 FTE (LTS) position for an English Language Arts teacher at Apple Valley High School. The effective date of employment is anticipated to be from September 14, 2026, until October 26, 2026. The teacher will be responsible for teaching the curriculum of Independent School District 196, carrying out responsibilities as defined by the master contract and the principal, and maintaining good communication and cooperation with staff and parents.
Requirements
- Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach high school english.
- Strong general academic background.
- Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.

- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
