This position is a full-time, on-site role at Fargo North High School during the academic school day and throughout summer programming. The Strength and Conditioning Coach will be integrated into the Physical Education curriculum, working collaboratively with PE instructors, school administration, and athletic coaches to support the development and performance of students and student-athletes. This role provides the opportunity to have a direct impact on students by teaching foundational strength and movement principles, enhancing athletic performance, and promoting long-term health and fitness. The coach will also lead and support year-round strength and conditioning programming for Fargo North athletes, helping to build a culture of training, accountability, and athletic development within the school. As part of the Sanford Sports Performance team, the position is supported by a network of strength coaches, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and sports medicine professionals committed to delivering high-quality performance training and athlete care. Responsible for a comprehensive program design, implementation and supervision of athletes/clients of various ages and skill levels, specific to organizing, administering and leading a year-round high school program (after school 3-6pm) and supporting the local Sanford Sports Performance facility. Additional responsibilities may include organizing and administering camps, team and academy training such as Sanford Sports Performance Hockey, semi-professional teams and club athletes.
