About The Position

Stratford Preparatory High School Blackford (SPB), located at 3800 Blackford Ave, San Jose, CA, is looking for a High School Spanish teacher for the 2026-27 school year. As a Spanish teacher at SPB, you are passionate about helping students develop both language proficiency and cultural understanding. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Previous teaching experience, preferably in high school or upper middle school grades
Knowledge of Spanish language arts curriculum standards and instructional strategies
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language.
Often carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend.
Regularly hear and use clear vision with or without correction.

Nice To Haves

Three to five years of teaching experience at the high school level or beyond.
