High School Soccer Coach
About The Position
James Irwin Charter Schools is seeking experienced and motivated Soccer Coaches to join our athletic program for the upcoming school year. We are hiring for Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions and are looking for individuals who are passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the field. Our soccer program emphasizes discipline, character development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and competitive excellence. Coaches will play an important role in mentoring students while helping build a strong and competitive program. The official soccer season runs from January to March, with preseason and offseason training opportunities available. Practices are typically held after school with games throughout the season.
Requirements
- Prior soccer coaching experience preferred (Head or Assistant level)
- Soccer background as a player and/or coach
- Ability to motivate, develop, and mentor student-athletes
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Must pass required background checks and school clearances
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead effective soccer practices
- Teach soccer fundamentals, technical skills, conditioning, and game strategy
- Promote sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and a positive team culture
- Supervise athletes during practices, games, and team events
- Collaborate with school administration and athletic leadership
- Support offseason training and player development
