About The Position
Teach engaging, standards-aligned Biology or Earth & Space Science lessons to high school students while creating a positive and structured learning environment. Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional activities that encourage student engagement, critical thinking, and academic growth. Proactively support student needs, classroom management, and academic progress while maintaining high expectations for all learners. Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff as an active and engaged member of the school community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid NYC Teaching Certificate
- New York State Science Certification preferred
- Prior teaching experience preferred
