About The Position

We plan to accomplish great things here this year. Our students attend either Central High School or Ooltewah High School half of the day and spend the other half of the day here at HBFRC. Transportation is provided from those schools. Harrison Bay Future Ready Center houses the 9th and 10th grade institute students in the mornings and the 11th grade institute students and other upperclassmen in Architecture and Engineering, Coding, and Architecture and construction in the afternoon. Our goal is to help prepare students for the future.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid Tennessee teaching license in 6-12 Science OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
- Positive, student-focused educators with strong content and classroom management skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Committed to high expectations and academic achievement for all students
- Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous growth
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus
- Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
- Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
